Who Is The Left? - part 1

This is the first of many posts that I will have periodically, attempting to define who the left is and what they represent.

WHO IS THE LEFT: PART 1: PATRIOT ACT

This is certainly something I have always wondered, and seemed quite backwards to me.

The Left has always been against the Patriot Act.  Giving numerous reasons why it is a breach of standard privacy rights.  BUT these are the same people, who want to know EVERYTHING about wellll...... everything.  How much money you make, where you keep your money, how much taxes you pay, where you drive, how much you drive, at what speed you drive, how many guns you own, what school you go to, who teaches your kid about sex, what your kid gets taught about sex, and what Union vote you cast.  The list goes on and on.  

BUT, HOLD ON, they are interested in personal PRIVACY.

I think some of us are still in the mindset that the Left is the old school anti-establishment crazy's that they used to be.  The is exactly incorrect. THEY ARE THE ESTABLISHMENT.  

The left does not evolve to the issues or the circumstances.  They Evolve to oppose.  

The party base did not hate the patriot act because it aligned with any of their other values. They hated the patriot act because the current administration liked it.  

Macho-sauce goes on a big rant about this.  At first his crazy style is a bit annoying, but he makes REALLY good points.  Stick it out through the whole video, hes real good and rips Unions a new one.
